TWO of Dorset Healthcare's largest covid vaccine sites will be closed this weekend.

King's Park vaccination centre in Boscombe is unable to undertake walk-in appointments or adult Covid vaccinations on Sunday 23 January.

Sentinel House in Poole will not be open for vaccinations this weekend (22-23 January).

A spokesperson for Dorset Healthcare said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

King’s Park (Boscombe), Vespasian House (Dorchester) and Sentinel House (Poole) are Dorset Healthcare's three large vaccination centres offering COVID-19 vaccinations for everyone aged over 16.

The centres administer the Pfizer vaccine (also called Comirnaty) – anyone can have their first, second or booster vaccination at these centres. If you had the Astrazeneca vaccine for your first and second jabs, you can have the Pfizer vaccine for your booster.

Second jabs can only be administered eight weeks or more after the first. The booster jab, for those who are eligible, is administered at least three months after your second jab.
