POOLE'S Lighthouse is joining more than a hundred UK theatres in offering 2-for-1 tickets to National Lottery players who attend a show in March.
It is the only Dorset venue taking part in the Love Your Local Theatre launched by UK Theatre with the aim of encouraging people to support their local theatres as they recover from the impact of Covid.
Stephanie Sirr, president of UK Theatre, said: “After such a turbulent two years, we want to shout about the fact that theatres are open and ready to reward audiences for their patience and loyalty – please visit your local theatre and help them continue to make brilliant creative work.”
Lighthouse is offering 2-for-1 tickets on Hairspray (March 1), Alexander Whitely: Overflow (March 8), La Boheme (March 11), The Golden Cockerel (March 12), Private Lives (March 15), Same Time Next Year (March 25) and The Rocky Horror Show (March 27).
The Love Your Local Theatre promotion is available on a limited number of tickets to anyone who is a National Lottery player and possesses a National Lottery ticket.
