POLICE officers were joined by the RSPCA and Dorset Council to execute a warrant at an address in Dorset following reports of illegal puppy breeding.
Dorset Police attended the property in the south of the county alongside the council's trading standards team and the RSPCA, who will lead future investigations.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: “Officers from Dorset Police, the RSPCA, and Dorset Council Trading Standards have executed a warrant at an address under the Animal Welfare Act in South Dorset.
“This follows allegations of illegal puppy breeding. Allegations of this nature often require a multi-agency approach and we will continue to work with our partners to disrupt, deter and bring offenders to justice.
“Following the execution of the warrant the investigation will continue and will be led by the RSPCA.”
