FOLLOWING last weekend’s 38-12 victory at home to Combe Down, Dorchester travel to Corsham for their Tribute Southern Counties South fixture at Lacock Road (2.30pm).

Head coach Josh Ovey has selected another string side, with Chris Elliott returning to the front row in the tight head role, Alex Sharp partners Brad Mullins in the second row, with the evergreen Tom Gower starting in the back row.

Callum King returns in the centre to partner James Baker with Kieran Fry continuing his run at full-back.

Whilst Corsham sit at the bottom of the table with the county town side in sixth, Ovey is in no doubt this will be a hard-fought game as Corsham need the win.

In the reverse fixture, Dorchester pushed their score tally over 50 points, however this weekend the weather may not be as favourable for an open running game.

The club have laid on a bus to enable supporters to travel with the team boosting the support on the touchline.

Dorchester’s A XV also travel tomorrow for their Tribute Dorset & Wilts Two South fixture, heading to local rivals and league leaders Lytchett Minster.

Captain Matt Fry continues his comeback from injury and starts this week along with Scott Clark, Owen Mitchell, and Alan Gale.

The side currently sit fourth in the table and if they can cause an upset could move up a place or two.

Fry is under no illusion it will be a tough physical encounter, as the reverse fixture was Dorchester’s first home loss of the season. Kick-off at Old Watery Lane is 2.30pm.
