Hear a spine-tingling performance of Faure's Requiem on Good Friday.

Music at St Peter's Church at 26 High East Street in Dorchester presents Faure's Requiem on Good Friday, April 15 at 6pm.

Gabriel Fauré composed his Requiem in D minor, Op. 48, between 1887 and 1890. The choral-orchestral setting of the shortened Catholic Mass for the Dead in Latin is the best-known of his large works. Its focus is on eternal rest and consolation.

The performance is offered in the context of an act of worship, so admission is free and all are very welcome to attend.
