Shepherds Croft, Portland
FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a kitchen fire at a property on Portland this afternoon.
Two crews rushed to a domestic property after receiving a report of a cooker fire on Shepherds Croft at 12.01pm today.
However, the reported blaze was already extinguished by the time the crews had arrived.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and rescue Service said: "Two fire crews were mobilised to a report of a cooker fire in a domestic property in Shepherds Croft in Portland.
"On arrival, the fire had already been extinguished and no further action was necessary."
