If you are looking for a new four-legged friend, one of these three might fit the bill.

Currently being cared for by Margaret Green Animal Rescue in Dorset, these dogs are all seeking forever homes.

The charity, based in Wareham, believes in finding the perfect match and always acts in the best interest of the dog.

If you aren't in a position to adopt a dog right now, you can still offer your support by making a donation.

But if you do have the time and space to welcome a new pet into your home, perhaps one of these handsome hounds could be your brand-new BFF.

Stanley

Dorset Echo:

Breed: British Bulldog

Age: 13

Stanley is looking for his retirement home. He is a very sweet boy who is partially blind and deaf but doesn’t let this bother him.

He still enjoys going for short strolls and his two favourite things in life are playing with tennis balls and taking naps on a comfy bed.

He is currently on eye drops for dry eye and cherry eye and his new family will need to carry on this treatment which will likely be lifelong.

Stanley recently had a dental at the vets and will need another in a few weeks, so I will need a family living close by to the centre who can take him for appointments.

He could live with a calmer dog and possibly cats too. Stanley would be happy living with older children as he has done so before.

For more information on Stanley, visit the Margaret Green Animal Rescue website.
