"We raised over £1,000 for this small local charity with the money raised going to help local animals and their owners. During our fundraiser they agreed we could pay an emergency vet bill for a homeless person's dog who had become unwell.

"Thanks to Nikki Latham from Chesil Radio who was our link to Internet Radio Station in the south and south west and to Brian and Janice our committee members who help at so many of our events. Also Brian Hallworth and his dog May who came along to show the marine litter he picks up from October 1 to April 30 when there are no restrictions on our beach for dogs. To Jane from Paws on Weymouth Beaches & Open Spaces, another of our committee members who had picked up some treats kindly given by Ali from The Doggie Shop Maiden Street. Weymouth."
