A MUSICAL and visual experience tells the little-known role that Weymouth played in the founding of the United States of America.
“Trusting in the Waves” traces the journey of the ship that sailed out of Weymouth Harbour in March 1635, and what happened to the real-life characters who went.

Come along to the Pavilion Theatre on the June 13 for this unique experience, told through original music, images, video and narrative bringing to life this part of Weymouth’s history.
The fascinating story will begin in early 1635 when a party of intrepid pioneers gathered around Weymouth Harbour – over 100 men, women and children from across the south west sailed off to found the town of Weymouth in Massachusetts.
Tickets cost £15. Start time 7.30pm.
