A TOWN centre Tesco Express has temporarily closed its doors for refurbishment.
The Tesco Express on St Thomas Street in Weymouth has temporarily closed its doors until June 22, when it will operate a smaller shop whilst work continues to be carried out in the store.
The work is set to be fully completed, and the store fully reopened, by mid-July.
A spokesman for Tesco said: “Our Weymouth St Thomas Street Express store will close from Thursday (June 9) whilst we undertake a refresh of the store to provide a better shopping experience to our customers. A smaller temporary shop will operate from June 22 whilst we carry out the work.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming customers into the improved store in mid-July.”
