POLICE have launched an investigation into recent graffiti damage on Portland.
Officers published five photos of the damage in the Grove Road area of the island.
Vandalism pictured by police shows doors, signs, walls and gates spray painted with the words 'Portland Lib Army' or just 'PLA'.
A spokesman for Weymouth & Portland Police said: "Portland NPT has been made aware of recent graffiti damage around the area of Grove Road, Portland.
"We will be investigating this damage, and are appealing for witnesses, or if anyone recognises the tag.
"Please make Dorset Police aware on 101 quoting crime reference number 55220093899."
