CHEMIST chain Boots has said it is 'excited' to welcome customers to its new and bigger store in Weymouth town centre.
As reported, Boots is moving to its new two-storey home, just metres away from its current dual-fronted premises at 81-82 St Mary Street and 22-24 St Thomas Street.
The retail and healthcare giant has put up a sign in their current store informing customers that they will be closing today and will be opening the bigger premises at 1-2 New Bond Street (previously New Look) tomorrow.
A spokeswoman from Boots, said: "We are excited to confirm that the brand new Boots store in Weymouth will open to the public on Wednesday.
"We can’t wait to welcome customers to the new store, which will offer healthcare services and an on-site pharmacist.
"All of the existing team members (from the St Mary Street/St Thomas Street premises) will move to the new store."
The new premises is a Grade II-listed building.
