Bargain hunters should make their way to a Weymouth neighbourhood this Sunday, June 26, where the Friends of Lodmoor Country Park have organised their fourth table-top sale trail.

Dozens of households in the Lodmoor area, bounded by Beaumont, Cleveland, Monmouth and St Andrews Avenue, will be laying out their wares for sale between 10am and 2.30pm.

They will be selling everything from plants, craft materials and toys to art and collectibles. Several stalls are raising funds for good causes, like the Samaritans and Ukraine, and one is specifically for the Lodmoor Friends’ group.

Tara Williams, Weymouth Town Council parks and open spaces manager, said: “The Friends of Lodmoor Country Park have come up with another fantastic idea to raise funds. By working together, the friends and the parks team can ensure that this wonderful open space is enjoyed by so many, whether you live in, or are visiting, our town.”

The sale trail is accessible from local footpaths and cycleways and free parking is available at Mount Pleasant park and ride.

Maps showing all the participating households will be available from sellers on the day for 50p a copy. For further details email dinah.ellis@btinternet.com or phone Susan Baillie on 01305 750557
