Parents have been warned about illegal parking outside a Weymouth school which 'could put children at risk'.
Police said they spoke to three drivers on the school run yesterday afternoon about parking on the yellow zig-zag lines outside of Wyke Regis Junior School on both Portland Road and High Street, Wyke Regis.
A spokesman for Weymouth & Portland Police said: "This is a road safety issue which could put children at risk. Please do not be tempted to park on these lines at these times even if it is 'only for 30 seconds'.
"Anyone found to be doing so could receive a Traffic Offence Report."
