A POPULAR attraction has announced a hot of summer activities to keep the whole family entertained.

EVERY weekday this school holidays, visitors to The Tank Museum can see tanks roll into action in the Museum’s arena.

There are ‘Mobility, Firepower and Protection’ themed family-friendly activities taking place every day inside the Museum and the 1pm Tanks in Action display every weekday, where visitors will be able to see tanks from the Cold War and WW2 take to the arena. Plus, visitors can ride in a real tracked-vehicle for £4 per person.

Inside, visitors can explore ten exhibitions, full of interactives suitable for all ages, with games, trails, puzzles and hands-on activities. Summer holiday activities include dressing up, model building and handling collection items.

Don’t miss new Museum interactives including Giant Top Trumps, destroy your opponent’s tank in Tactical Training, make a Tank of the Future with Cobi, climb inside a mock Centurion’s driver’s seat, sort the tools in our Chieftain Tool Bench, and make a Memorable Mascot out of fuzzy felt.

A spokesperson for The Tank Museum said: “Explore Dorset’s largest indoor attraction this summer holiday, where kids can dress up, enjoy trails and tours, and let off steam in our soft play and outdoor play area before taking a break in the Museum café or restaurant.”
