WORLD Sailing champions Sarah Ayton and her team took gold with one day to spare at the Yngling Women's World Championships.
Sarah of Wyke Regis, Weymouth, along with Sarah Webb and Pippa Wilson clinched victory in the championships in Miami by dominating the 28-boat fleet and gaining an unassailable lead on the penultimate day of sailing.
The trio took their first world crown at the ISAF World Championships in Cascais last July and then went on to take gold in the Olympic test event in Qingdao.
This latest victory is the third gold for the British team in a year.
