AN individual had to be taken to hospital after slipping on rocks and breaking their arm.
Kimmeridge Coastguard responded to the incident at 11.22 yesterday.
Crews were paged, alongside St Alban's Coastguard Team, to Kimmeridge Bay and made "best speed along the beach to assess the person and provide casualty care."
The arm was put into a splint and, with a final assessment made and hospital information provided, it was agreed amongst the person, family members and ourselves, the best course of action would be for them to transport the person by car to hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for Kimmeridge Coastguard Team said: "Wishing the person with the broken arm a speedy recovery and hopefully they get to enjoy the remainder of their holiday down here."
