Thrilled crowds were treated to a live action demonstration by the RNLI last night.
It formed part of Weymouth RNLI Lifeboat Week, which kicked off on Sunday with a blessing of the lifeboat at the harbourside.
Last night, people of all ages gathered at the Nothe Gardens for a live action display from volunteer crew.
There was plenty to do, with food, music and a funfair to keep everyone entertained.
As the week continues, tonight sees live music at The Boat Cafe with a raffle for the RNLI.
If you missed last night's display, don't worry, another will take place on Wednesday evening at Bowleaze Cove. There will be food and entertainment from 7-10pm.
Thursday, from 8pm-11pm, will see live music at Leo's Bar on St Alban's Street with a collection and raffle. Elsewhere a standup paddle boarding competition will take place at Osprey Quay 6pm-8pm.
And on Saturday, Weymouth Lifeboat Station will host an open day 10am-5pm. Volunteer crew will be on hand to talk to members of the public about any questions they may have. A grand draw will take place at 4pm.
A spokesperson for Weymouth Lifeboat Station said: “This will be our first lifeboat week since the Covid-19 pandemic and we are so looking forward to seeing you face-to-face."
