A 64 year old man required medical attention after reportedly being assaulted with a traffic cone.
The incident took place outside the Wyke Regis Tesco Express on Portland Road at around 1.35pm on Monday, July 18.
It is reported that a cone was thrown at the victim resulting in a head injury that necessitated medical treatment.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
