A barn dance in aid of raising money for agricultural students is returning for a ‘fantastic’ night of fundraising.
The Barn Dance for the Gillingham & Shaftesbury Show’s Student Support Fund raises money to help agricultural, horticultural and countryside based students with the cost of college or university fees, books and equipment.
There will be music from Black Sheep, one of Dorset’s most popular barn dance and ceilidh band, and a bar and hot food caterers on site.
The Barn Dance will be held at the Turnpike Showground on Wednesday, August 10, with a marquee opening at 6pm and music starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are on sale now, cost £10 per person and can be purchased via info@gillinghamandshaftesburyshow.co.uk or telephone 01747 823955.
