A STORE manager in Weymouth is celebrating a work anniversary milestone this month after working for a supermarket for 20 years.

Ricky Jordan works for the Aldi store in Weymouth, first joining the supermarket in 2002. He started off as a Store Assistant before moving to his current role in 2021.

Over the years, Mr Jordan has gone above and beyond his typical store duties, helping to develop and train numerous colleagues, as well as arranging and taking part in a range of fundraising activities at the store.

Speaking about his long service, Mr Jordan said: “It has been a privilege to work at Aldi for 20 years. I’ve loved working here and want to thank the customers and my amazing colleagues who also play a part in making it a great place to come to work every day.”

When asked about his favourite products at Aldi, Ricky replied: “Without doubt it has to be the Viennese Choc Fingers – you can’t beat them as a little treat after work!”

John Richardson, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK, said: “Without the hard work and dedication of our store colleagues, we wouldn’t be able to provide customers with the excellent and efficient service we’ve become known for.

“Colleagues like Ricky are the cornerstone of our business and I thank him for his continued dedication throughout the last 20 years.”
