More outdoor theatre is heading to the county town next weekend.

Awful Auntie by David Walliams, adapted for the outdoor stage by Heartbreak Productions, can be seen at Maumbury Rings, Dorchester, on Saturday, August 13.

Promoters say: "This is a truly thrilling tale. Owls, ghosts, chases, escapes, motorcycle rides, and tiddlywinks all fill Stella’s days as she evades her menacing aunt and saves the family home."

People are advised to bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic

The performance begins at 6pm. Refreshments are available from 5pm.

The approximate duration of Awful Auntie is two hours.

Tickets cost £12 for adults, £10 for concessions and £40 for families.

They can be bought from Dorchester Arts. Go to the website www.dorchesterarts.org.uk
