He pleaded guilty to one count of fraud by false representation.
The charge relates to an incident which took place in Weymouth between March 10 and March 25, 2020, in which Dunlop dishonestly made a false representation, namely requesting money for a room which was not available, intending to make a gain for himself of £655.50.
For the offence Dunlop was fined £1,300, was ordered to pay compensation of £655.50, a victim surcharge of £130 and court costs of £85.
The defendant's guilty plea was taken into account by magistrates when imposing the sentence.
