Police and other emergency services were responding to a vulnerable missing person.
Multiple emergency services were involved in a cross-agency response to locate a missing vulnerable person.
Wyke Coastguard Rescue Team and Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team worked alongside Weymouth & Portland Police and Weymouth & West Dorset Lifeguards.
Emergency services were tasked shortly before 2pm on Satuday (August 6) after reports of a missing person on Weymouth sands.
Coastguard rescue teams were able to make police aware of a sighting near the Jubilee clock.
A positive ID was then made by Police and forces were stood down.
