The Great Field where the event will be held, Poundbury
A free event promising loads of fun activities for kids will be taking place later this week.
Holiday Hangouts is a free event for children aged 9 to14-years-old and will take place from 11am to 4pm on Friday, August 12 at the Great Field in Poundbury.
Fun activities on the day include bungee run, craft, football, music, sumo suits and much more.
Families with a 'Summer in Dorset' passcode can use it when registering so that children will receive a free hot meal.
There will be a BBQ on the day, for £3.50 per head or children can bring a picnic.
The event is being held by Pavilion in the Park and Dorchester Town Council.
