WEYMOUTH West Air Scout group is to extend its headquarters in Granby Close to provide a wheelchair accessible toilet and shower block.
Dorset Council has granted planning consent for the change which will be in keeping with the existing hall, extending it northwards by nine metres, within the triangular plot.
Almost half of the extension will be taken up by a storage room.
Weymouth Town Council raised no objection to the extension and there were no public comments about the proposal.
