A MALE driver has been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Dorchester this morning.
Celtic Crescent, between Cunningham Close and Remus Close, was closed this morning after police received reports of a single-vehicle crash there at 9.11am today.
The ambulance service were also said to be in attendance.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 9.11am on Tuesday 16 August 2022 to a report of a single vehicle collision in Celtic Crescent in Dorchester.
"Officers are in attendance with the ambulance service. The road is closed between Cunnington Close and Remus Close."
An update from Dorset Police said: "The male driver was taken to hospital for treatment, we do not have an update on his condition."
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service said: "We received a call at 9.09am this morning about a road traffic collision on Celtic Crescent, Dorchester.
"A crew from Dorchester attended the incident which involved a single car – they assisted a casualty from the vehicle and made the scene safe.
"The stop came at 9.25am and the casualty was left in the hands of ambulance crew."
