40 new homes are to be built in a town in north Dorset.
Redrow has announced the second phase of new homes at Blackmore Down, a 170-home development, in Shaftesbury.
The 40 new properties will comprise of three and four-bedroom homes "inspired by the arts and crafts architectural movement of the 1930s".
To mark the second phase, Redrow will be inviting prospective buyers and members of the local community to an event at the development on Saturday, September 3.
The event, held between 1-4pm, will see visitors able to see the homes first-hand whilst enjoying the pizza and drinks provided.
The show homes that visitors can explore on site includes the fully furnished three-bedroom Warwick, the three-bedroom Oxford Lifestyle and the four-bedroom Shaftesbury house types.

The Blackmore Down development was first announced in 2020 with 51 affordable houses initially being offered.
Prices in Redrow's second phase of the development start from £409,950 for a four-bedroom detached home.
Redrow’s Help to Sell initiative is available at no extra cost, where Redrow will arrange up to three appraisals of a buyer’s former property while contributing to estate agent fees.
