Incredible. Wow. At a time when there is so much negativity in the local and national press concerning our future, may I try and add a little positivity please?
I have just returned from watching the WOW 40th Anniversary Show for the second evening, as I enjoyed the first one so much.
How youngsters aged 10 to 18 can put on such an incredible spectacle of song and dance speaks wonders for the whole production team, but much of the credit for the success surely has to go to the youngsters themselves. Their musicality, harmony, enthusiasm, energetic dancing and interpretation of each song was superb.
There were twelve newcomers in the show, but it was impossible to distinguish them from the seasoned “veterans”.
The audience loved it as, apparently, did the performers. Absolutely superb entertainment. With youngsters like this who are, after all, our future, the years to come look very bright indeed. WOW!
