A walker has been taken to hospital by helicopter after slipping and breaking their ankle.
Earlier this afternoon the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Swanage Coastguard responded to an incident where a walker in Swanage, near Peveril Point, slipped on the footpath and broke their ankle.
The walker was then airlifted to the hospital by the air ambulance.
A Swanage Coastguard Rescue Team spokesperson said: "The team were paged this afternoon along with South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance to a walker who had slipped on the footpath and broken their ankle.
"After the casualty assessment and pain relief administered the casualty was transferred on a scoop stretcher and carried to the helo, where they were flown to hospital."
