Drivers going to and from Broadmayne may face an almost 10-mile diversion as part of Chalky Road closes for work.
Chalky Road, Broadmayne will be closed from its junction with Martel Close to outside 4 Chalky Road in both directions, for approximately 230 metres. The closure will come into operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Monday, January 9, 2023, until Friday, January 13, 2023.
The work is to allow Openreach safe access to install a new fibre cable.
The suggested alternative route is as follows: Chalky Road, Herringston Road, Maumbury Road, Weymouth Avenue, B3144, A352 and vice versa.
