A restaurant owner has hit out at vandals after his restaurant was targeted for a second time.
Head Chef and owner Eric Tavernier from Restaurant Les Enfants Terribles was left frustrated after discovering an olive tree had been knocked over overnight.
The tree was a replacement for one that was smashed two weeks earlier.
Eric said: "This is now the second time that we have had to change this olive tree pot after it was literally destroyed a couple of weeks ago during the young farmers' weekend. Everything has been recorded and remains in our possession if ever anyone wants to see it."
Eric posted CCTV footage of the moment the plant pot was smashed just before 3.00 am on March 19 2023.
The footage shows three girls walking past the restaurant, and one girl can be seen pushing the plant over causing the pot to smash.
The girls can then be seen fleeing up the street.
Eric said: "This lovely lady walked past at 2. 59 am on Saturday 18th March. If it’s your daughter or you know her or her friends can you get in contact to pay for the new pot we just bought for £80 after the young farmers came to town and broke the last one."
Dorset Police said they were unaware of the incident.
Eric said: "What is really frustrating is that we are currently on an extended closure due to the fact that we are so short of staff. In the meantime, we still have some really young people, by the looks of the video, who have nothing to do but destroy someone else’s property at 3.00 am."
