A road in north Dorset will be closed from today, Tuesday, April 11, until Friday, April 14 while survey work is carried out for stabilisation works.
Dinah's Hollow in the village of Melbury Abbas, near Shaftesbury, will be closed daily from 9am to 3pm.
The road will be closed from the junction at Grove Farm House to Dina's House, a distance of approximately 630 metres.
While the road is closed, a signed diversion will be in place.
During this time, Dorset Council will conduct an ecological and environmental survey in preparation for future stabilisation works.
Council workers will also take the opportunity to do essential maintenance to the traffic signals, road sweeping and gully cleaning.
Ahead of the works the council is thanking drivers for their patience.
