POOCHES are being pampered ahead of the return of a popular Dorset dog show this summer.
The Martinstown Fun Dog show is taking place on Saturday, June 17 on the village green.
There will be the usual classes for pedigrees, veterans terriers, rescues and crossbreeds with classes including best condition and waggiest tail.
Entries will be taken from noon and classes begin at 2pm in the Dorset village near Dorchester.
Prizes are being provided by Park House Pets and will be giving out hints and tips on training and dog behaviour.
Dogs are required to be on leads at all times and there is plenty of parking in the adjacent field.
Refreshments will also be provided in the village hall and ice creams at the village shop.
