Emergency services were alerted after a medical emergency at an address in North Dorset.
A person was taken to hospital in Salisbury by ambulance this morning following the call-out to an emergency in Grosvenor Road, Shaftesbury.
A co-responder team from Gillingham Fire Station and an ambulance responded to the call at around 9am this morning, Tuesday, April 25.
A person was taken by ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital.
A spokesman for the South Western Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 08.41hrs to an incident in the Shaftesbury area. We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and a First Responder, and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital.”
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We attended an address in Grosvenor Road, Shaftesbury at 9.04am this morning in assistance of the ambulance service. A co-responder team from Gillingham were sent.”
