Crowds gathered for the return of a popular festival on Weymouth Harbour.

The Quayside Music Festival returned for its 16th year as fans gathered to watch live music by the harbour.

Hosted by local pubs Rendevous, The Anchor Inn and The Royal Oak, the event was free entry for everyone to enjoy.

The event is hosted annually on every bank holiday weekend.

Acts on Saturday night included Miss LA, What the Phunk, That Britpop Band and Sugarrush.

Sisterhood headlined a high-octane Saturday night as fans enjoyed a sun-soaked evening on Weymouth Harbour.

The road at Custom House Quay has temporarily been closed for the festival.

Live music continued throughout Sunday, including performances from Mellowmatic, DJ Philip, Chief Lazarus and The Few.

The festival went on until 10pm last night.

Organisers warned those attending to "dress accordingly" with rain expected throughout Sunday.

They said: "We are all very excited to host this amazing event. The weather looks ok but dress accordingly, please. I have no doubt you guys are going to create an amazing atmosphere. We can not wait to see you all there."
