Two people were ordered to leave Weymouth seafront over their drunken drunken behaviour.

Police from the Weymouth neighbourhood patrol team responded to complaints from members of the public about people creating a disturbance.

A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Earlier this afternoon, officers from Weymouth NPT issued two Section 35 dispersal notices following complaints of alcohol-related anti-social behaviour on The Esplanade, Weymouth.

"Officers continued to monitor the area throughout their shift, to ensure the recipients did not return."

Dispersal orders enable officers to direct a person who has committed or is likely to commit anti-social behaviour to leave a specified area and not return for a specified period of up to 48 hours.
