Fire crews climbed through a window to help rescue someone after they were locked inside.

At around 1pm today, Monday, May 1 a fire crew from Dorchester Fire Station responded to a call that someone was locked inside.

A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said: "On arrival, the crew were met by the occupier at the window of the property and was unable to get out the room due to a broken door handle.
