A road in Dorset will be closed for more than two months for roadworks.
Woodsford Road, Woodsford, near Crossways, will be closed from the National Cycle Route Two to a point of approximately 260 metres to the south. It will be closed in both directions.
It will be closed for 70 days from Monday, June 19 to Monday, August 28.
The closure is to allow Spec Projects Ltd to improve access and create culverts to allow a conveyor to be installed and distribute aggregate.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed to the east using NCR2, B3390, Dick o'th Banks Road and vice versa and to the west via NCR2, Highgate Lane, Dick o'th Banks Road and vice versa.
For further information about the work being undertaken and access arrangements, call Spec Projects Ltd on 07836380356.
To discuss the closure order, call Dorset Highways Traffic Team on 01305 221020 or email trafficteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.
