Gardens will be open in a pretty streamside Dorset village this weekend.

More than 20 private gardens will open up for the Martinstown Open Gardens event on the weekend of Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 between 2pm and 6pm.

Entry to the gardens is by programme costing £5 and this is valid for both days.

There is plenty of free car parking at the eastern end of the village and disabled parking at the village hall, where there will be an art exhibition and home made teas.

On Saturday, June 17, there will also be a Fun Family Dog Show – details of classes will be on the village hall page of the website martinstown-news.co.uk

All profits from both events will go to the upkeep of the village hall. Organisers ask that visitors bring cash only please.
