A woman and a boy have been allegedly assaulted outside a primary school.

Police are investigating two alleged assaults in Swanage and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward – with one man arrested in connection with the incident.

Both incidents reportedly happened on Monday, June, 26 outside St Mark's CE Primary School in High Street.

The first reported assault on a woman took place at around 8.15am, with a further incident where a boy was allegedly assaulted at around 3pm.

No one sustained any injuries during the incidents.

A 43-year-old man from Swanage has been arrested on suspicion of assault. The arrested man is known to both victims.

Police Constable Mia-Isabella Bowditch, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed either incident to please get in touch as you may have information to help my investigation.”
