A man has been arrested following reported criminal damage to eight cars parked at a popular steam and vintage show.
It was reported to police at around 8pm on Saturday, July 1, that damage had been caused to eight cars parked at the Chickerell Steam and Vintage Show at Knights in the Bottom.
Several vehicles reportedly had their windscreen wipers ripped off and one had a damaged windscreen.
A 31-year-old Weymouth man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He has been released under investigation.
Police are investigating and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Investigations Officer Amy Davis, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate these incidents and I would urge anyone who saw what happened to please contact us.
“I would also like to hear from anybody who may have captured any relevant dashcam or mobile phone footage.”
