A man has been arrested in connection with a report of an upskirting offence at a shop in Weymouth.
It was reported that at around 3.00 pm on Friday June 16 2023 a 14-year-old girl was in the Tesco Express store on Portland Road in Wyke Regis when a man was apparently seen apparently trying to take photos underneath her skirt.
A woman challenged the man and made the victim aware of what happened, and the man was subsequently seen leaving the store.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Following enquiries and a CCTV appeal in relation to the incident, a 31-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of an upskirting offence.
"A potential witness officers were looking to identify has also come forward.
"We would like to thank all those who shared our appeal."
