A popular market is set to make a return.
Portland Market is making a comeback on Tuesday, August 1 from 9am to 4pm at New Ground.
The weekly market will take place every Tuesday on the island and used to be very popular with tourists and day-trippers.
This year, however, Portland Market will be accompanied by a sister event in the form of a car boot sale, taking place at the same venue every Sunday from 10am to 2pm with the first event taking place on Sunday, August 6.
To take part in the car boot sale, pitches are £5 for cars, £8 for vans and £8 for trailers.
There is a £1 entry fee for adults wishing to browse the sale.
