AN X-FACTOR winner will play at a charity football match in Dorchester later this year.

The celebrity match will take place at The Avenue Stadium on Sunday, September 3 from 3pm-6pm.

The game will raise funds for Tommy's Charity, which campaigns to find causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as pregnancy and baby loss support.

As well as 2011 X-Factor winner James Arthur - known for hits including Say You Won't Let Go - other celebrity players confirmed to take part are Calum Best, son of the late legendary Northern Irish footballer George.

Dan Osborne, known for appearing in reality show The Only Way is Essex, will also be playing, as well as Tik Tok star Chet Sket.

Former EastEnders star Dean Gaffney - who played Robbie in the popular soap - will be lining up with Britain's Got Talent star Flintz.

Matt Lapinskas, who played Anthony Moon in Eastenders from 2011 to 2012, has also been announced to play.

The match is being run by Sellebrity Soccer, which organises celebrity football matches across the UK.

More celebrities set to play in the friendly are due to be announced soon, while their appearances are subject to work commitments.

Tickets for the match start at £12 and can be bought via Eventbrite by searching for 'Celebrity Charity Football Match at Dorchester Town FC'.
