A man has been arrested in Wareham on suspicion of stealing a horse trailer in Wales.
Dorset Police Rural Crime Team have been working alongside Gwent Police to recover the trailer.
A spokesperson for the Rural Crime Team said: "Following information received from Gwent Police we have attended a location in rural Wareham and arrested a male for the theft of a horse trailer in Gwent.
"A male has been released under investigation and Gwent Police will continue to make enquiries.
"Please remember if you have a horse trailer to record any serials and consider extra tagging methods such as Datatag ID Limited.
"Should you have any information regarding this theft please contact Gwent Police."
