A SECOND hand book sale has raised a healthy amount of funding support for a Dorset library.
The Friends of Weymouth Library held the sale at Weymouth Library in Great George Street over three days.
Plenty of quality fiction books and biographies were on sale at the library for 50p each, including 'great beach reads'.
Susan Baillie, chairman of the Friends of Weymouth Library, reports that the second hand book sale at the library raised £275 towards support for the library to purchase items above and beyond Dorset Council funding.
Mrs Baillie said: "The commitee gives thanks to all the volunteers and Weymouth library staff who helped set up and support the stall.
"Now the library needs to decide how to spend the money."
