Around £45,000 worth of cannabis has been discovered at a Weymouth address.

Officers from Weymouth Neighbourhood Policing Team forced entry to the property on Norfolk Road following concerns raised that the residents had their home taken over in order to establish a base for illegal drug dealing in the area.

With an understanding that the address was being used as base to store and sell controlled substances and with further information obtained at scene, officers forced entry to the property yesterday afternoon (Sunday, September 24).

Two cannabis grows were located in the upstairs bedrooms with a combined value of approximately £45,000.
