Dorset avoided much of Storm Agnes over the last week, but this weekend the Met Office has issued five flood warnings and over 20 alerts for flooding across the UK.

So, will it remain dry in Dorset?

The Met Office forecast for the south west of England this weekend shows the weather to be dry for most of Saturday, with bright or sunny spells in the morning.

Expect thickening clouds during the afternoon with drizzly rain possible over the moors later.

Expect cloudy weather on Sunday and Monday with spells of rain at times. The weather will get brighter on Tuesday with sunny intervals, staying mostly dry.

For the most part, Dorset will be cloudy and overcast over the weekend, but it should brighten up across the county on Saturday afternoon. The new week could start with showers.
