Police have released a new image of a man they would like to speak to following reports of criminal damage and threatening behaviour in Weymouth.

As previously reported, a man threatened a person with violence after they confronted him for causing criminal damage to a bus stop outside a Weymouth nightclub.

Dorset Police received a report of a man causing damage to a bus shelter outside the Rendezvous bar and nightclub in St Edmund Street on Monday, October 2, at around 1.15pm.

When challenged by a member of the public, it is reported that the man made threatening remarks of violence toward the person.

Officers continuing to investigate an incident where a man allegedly committed criminal damage and exhibited threatening behaviour in Weymouth are releasing a new CCTV image of the man they wish to speak to.

Police Constable Charles Andrews, of Weymouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate these incidents and following further enquiries, we have now obtained a further CCTV image of the man we would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
